About the Point B Solutions Project

The 3PL Minnesota-based company provides services to many businesses including electronic, health & beauty, equipment, and apparel manufacturers

Point B Solutions, a third-party logistics (3PL) provider, selected Sever Construction for its suite expansion and raw space tenant build-out in February 2021. Claire Roberts, vice president at Colliers MSP, represented Point B and secured an extended 10-year lease at 610 Commerce II in Brooklyn Park.

The Big Picture

Our construction management team partnered with Reprise Design to successfully deliver the 78,784-square-foot office and industrial expansion project in a timely manner, despite supply chain issues and long lead times on materials.

The Form and Function

Point B Solutions’ business model provides its clients with fulfillment, technology, printing, and promotional services. The building renovation required six new RTUs, three of those being 20-tons, for increased ventilation in the existing building. MEP design-build incorporated custom static and humidity control systems for the printing areas of the building.

The new floorplan was thoughtfully designed around the client’s workflow, considering the distinct differences from the office function to the fulfillment and warehousing procedures. This meant applying intuitive walkways and limited access points for varying staff that also satisfied noise control and code compliance.

The overall layout comprises of a vestibule, lobby, and inviting seating area for visitors. There are private offices, an open workstation area, conference rooms, breakroom, and restrooms. There is a digital printing room that houses 27 pieces of machinery including a large format printer. The 28-foot clear warehouse has racking designed for kitting, assembling, storing, and shipping of goods.

Point B Solutions has a technology team on site who develop and deploy client applications, as well as API and EDI integration.
